Jessica Miller is a dedicated English educator with eight years of experience teaching high school English, specializing in English Literature, American Literature, Composition, and Rhetoric. She brings a strong foundation in secondary instruction to her role teaching at UC, where she emphasizes critical reading, analytical writing, and inclusive classroom dialogue. 

Her professional background includes curriculum development, literary analysis, and writing instruction, with a continued interest in bridging secondary and postsecondary learning expectations. She is particularly passionate about guiding students through the writing process and fostering a deep appreciation for literature's cultural and historical contexts.

Originally from Russell, Kentucky, Jessica currently resides in London, Kentucky where she remains active in both her school and local community. Beyond her professional life, she enjoys reading, baking, sewing, and exploring outdoors. She and her husband are the proud parents of two young children and a mini goldendoodle named Harry.
